Sandman Signature Toronto Airport Hotel

Front desk staff are very helpful. The place is nice. With luxurious suites rooms. Patricia and staff at this airport location hotel helped answer our hotel questions. The suite was perfect, clean, and roomy. We enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi at lobby level for 2 of 3 nights we stayed there. This hotel is impressive and excellent family convention and budget stays.

I recently stayed at the Sandman Signature Toronto Airport Hotel, and honestly, it was such a pleasant surprise. If you’re like me and need something that’s close to the airport but still feels like a proper getaway, this place checks all the boxes. From the moment I walked into the lobby, I felt like I could relax. The room? So clean and spacious. I had a mini kitchen setup with a microwave and fridge, which came in super handy. The bed was cozy and the blackout curtains made sure I actually got a good night’s sleep (rare for me when staying near airports). Also, surprisingly quiet for being that close to Pearson.

Stayed here recently and while the location, free parking, and friendly staff were great, the rest of the experience fell short — especially compared to other Sandman locations I’ve stayed at across Canada. Our room was a good size and had some nice amenities, but unfortunately, it wasn’t as advertised. The listing on Booking.com specifically noted that our room style came with a balcony…it did not. So what seemed like a great deal, wasn’t. Cleanliness was also lacking. Cup marks were left on multiple surfaces, appliances and windows had visible fingerprints and splash marks, and some walls and doors were in need of a good wipe-down. The shower door seal was broken, and most concerning was the black mould inside the washing machine. As someone with a front-loading washer at home, I know this is due to poor maintenance…the rubber seal must be cleaned and disinfected regularly. Overall, this location didn’t meet the standard I’ve come to expect from Sandman. A bit of attention to detail and better housekeeping would go a long way here.
