This hotel is very lovely, the staff is very nice and the breakfast is so good! The managers are always trying to make you feel in home and they help you with options in the island, I went in a solo travel during low season and for me was the best because I shared time with the locals and learn more about this island life, also the hotel program the tours and we were almost alone, also at the beach were just a few people so was wonderful. Sukuriya to everyone!
we just booked one night but they serve us very well with all kind of help from 1. pickup 2. introduction of history and viewpoint of this island 3. excursion can book and find in this island. 4. room preparation 5. nice restaurant 6. good care and helpful staff. If the price is not far away from other hotel/guesthouse, I must recommend you to choose this one! I go other 7 hotel in this island(because they are fully booked at coming 6 days) and I find that this hotel is the best in term of service, room, facility...and even the drinking water they provide, is the best.
During my recent stay at a beautiful resort, I was initially impressed by the stunning environment, friendly staff, and delicious meals they served. However, my experience quickly soured due to the actions of the housekeeping staff. They frequently knocked on my door, waking me up and insisting I leave so they could "clean," which mainly involved making the beds and taking out the trash. Despite my repeated requests for them to keep the door closed while cleaning to prevent mosquitoes from entering, they consistently left it wide open. One day, I returned to my room to find the door ajar, and I realized that my cash had gone missing. I had taken precautions to hide it deep in my luggage after noticing a worker observing where I kept it, but it was clear that someone had taken it while I was away. The aftermath of this situation was incredibly frustrating. Instead of a thorough cleaning, I returned to find only a made bed, empty trash, and an empty wallet, alongside a many mosquitoes that had invaded my space due to them. My friend and I suffered through a night filled with mosquito bites, even with bug spray applied, which left us feeling sick and going to the local hospital to find treatments. Additionally, the discomfort of the beds was unbearable; two out of the three beds had only spring mattresses, causing immense back pain. When I requested a memory foam mattress, I was told that the rooms were full and nothing could be done, which was baffling considering that only one of the three beds had a memory foam option. The staff communicated fluently in English when they wanted us to leave, yet when I confronted them about my missing cash, they suddenly struggled to understand. Ultimately, the combination of discomfort, theft, and poor communication turned what should have been a relaxing getaway into a distressing experience.
