We've spent a long weekend at this hotel in October 2015, and it was super nice. The beds were too soft for us, but maybe that's just personal preference. We were there between school holidays, so it was really quiet, we had the sauna and swimming pool almost just to ourselves. Their kitchen is FANTASTIC, and I'm not saying that lightly - ever. We've dinner there the first night, and we could not get ourselves to try anything else in the vicinity ;-) Service was professional, smiling, open and helpful. Everything was so very elegant and shiny, but they didn't make you feel uncomfortable with it at all. You can take relaxing walks around in the forest, have a nice massage and/or a facial in the hotel... It's just perfect for a relaxing getaway. We were extra lucky, because although the weather was pretty fresh, the sun was shining and the autumn colours were just exploding all over the place. I'd definitely go back if I could, every other weekend ;-)

Fantastic hotel, well appointed and modern. Staff are very professional, helpful and welcoming. Would highly recommend this place. The old part of the hotel dates from the 1700s- very cool and full of history. The restaurant is also very good, breakfast was fantastic. Only drawback was that our room did not have a minibar, otherwise very nice.

Good hotel with friendly staff. You can arrive early and they will store your luggage for you. The breakfast is good and if something has run out the staff will replenish quickly. There is a restaurant as well but also a few around the hotel. As to the rooms: (1) make sure you get a room facing the forest (2) not sure if they have them but get a kingsize rather than two beds. Very non-Dutch to get two beds rather than one big two person bed.
