Sandy Beach Resort

Our stay at the Sandy Villas resort has been lovely, we have thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The only issue is that some of the bar staff, they are more than content to just stand and talk whilst you are waiting for a drink.. perhaps some gentle reminders from managers about their responsibilities... Our Villa is beautiful, the rooms are clean and well presented and a quiet corner of Sandy beach resort. The cleaning staff are quiet and dilligent in their duties, the room was clean perfectly everyday . At night whilst by our pool we saw Hedgehogs, geckos and mosquitoes (bring repellent). We have spent our days on the beach or in the Adult only bar and pool. It has a great atmosphere. The restaurants offer a wide verity of dishes with core dishes changing daily. Plenty of tables available, even when extremely busy. The staff that clean the tables do a fantastic job whilst under a lot of pressure. I would like to say a big thank you to the buggy drivers whom are always there ready to take you to wherever you need to go. My wife has limited mobility and they saved us lots walking, especially as we had a few days 40⁰C plus. The beach is beautiful, plenty of sunbeds, but they do fill up fast, there is an area just for adults. We shall definitely come back to Corfu and Sandy beach resort. There is so much to do, from the kids play area to the Adult pool, there is always something going on.

We returned a week ago from Sandy Beach. Well what can I say. After a long and stressful flight. We were dropped off by a lovely friendly driver. The reception staff were very welcoming and helpful. The resort was huge and very busy at times. The meals were delicious, always hot, topped up frequently. A variety of dishes provided. I was generally impressed with the service provided. Few things that could be improved are more sun beds especially by the dolphin pool. It was hard for us to find a bed free. The music was too loud by the slide pool.Apart from that everything was excellent, I normally go to Spain. After Sandy Beach, Greece is my new " Happy Place"! Efcharisto xx

**Pros** - **Swift check-in** upon late-night arrival. - **Buggy transport to room** with luggage — very helpful, especially with a child at 2am. - **Kids Club** was a highlight — staff were fantastic, bilingual, and engaging. - **Gyros à la carte restaurant** was excellent. - **Room in block 2000** had a great location. - **Clean and enjoyable pools**. - **Beach proximity** — great for swimming and paddling with shallow waters. - **Plenty of loungers at the beach**. - **Free shower room** offered when late check-out wasn’t available. - **Evening mini disco and pyjama party** were great fun for kids. - **Animation team** was consistently amazing. --- **Cons** - **Buffet food was mediocre**, though plentiful. - **Limited à la carte availability** — couldn’t book both desired restaurants. - **Ammos à la carte** was mediocre and had a wasp issue. - **Reception staff** were unhelpful when trying to locate Gyros restaurant. - **All-inclusive drinks token system** was frustrating and slow. - **Pool loungers often reserved** with towels, making them hard to access. - **Wasps and ants** were frequently present. - **On-site arcade** was dated, expensive, and had broken machines. - **Shops nearby and on-site** were expensive. - **Bar and reception staff** sometimes rude unless you were a new arrival. - **Buggy drivers** occasionally drove too fast.
