Sankt Jörgen Park

This, somewhat-out-of-the-way, spa hotel is a calming oasis after a day of meetings and activities. From the relaxing and quirky lobby (full size tree in the lobby bar) to the stunning nature views from the rooms - this place bestowed peace and quiet on my stay. Food options on the premises are high quality and sustainably sourced. Food allergies are taken seriously. Service from front desk (hi Camilla!) to waitstaff and bartenders is professional, fast and friendly.

The spa is worth it. Although part of it is still being renovated. The fire room was not as cosy. In my opinion they could remove the glass wall between this room and the pool. We didn't stay. Only used the pool club. Towards the end we saw a bunch of children using the indoor pool to play. This introduced lots of noise.

We took "Day Spa including lunch", but they said we were allowed to have lunch three hours after spa check-in, meaning we got our lunch at 2pm starving to death! Such a weird rule and service. And the lunch was not a typical Swedish lunch (warm dishes with salad buffé and coffee included). Instead, it was just one cold sandwich!
