Santa Chiara Hotel

I cannot think of a better place to stay when in Venice. We stayed for about 4 nights. The service is excellent, location is so centric if you need transportation. Just a few steps from the vaporreto docks, behind the hotel it has the bus terminal and a taxi station and the train terminal is just across the bridge which ends right in front of the hotel. Rooms are very good and very well taken care. Staff nice, kudos to Lorenzo you are the best. Nearby is a café where they serve the best pistachio cornneto you can have and a few minutes to the other side is the trattoria KM-0 which serve very good food and is not in the middle of the tourist traps.

Of the 7 hotels we stayed in on this trip, I think Hotel Chiara was our favorite and we will come back. The staff was so nice and helpful with ideas to make the most of our visit. The location is amazing and an easy walk to every where in Venice.

Beautiful rooms, decor, amenities and view of the grand canal. Just across the bridge from the train station. Very helpful staff. Breakfast is served rather than buffet style. 4th floor terrace gives perfect views.
