Santa Clara Country Hotel

I just wanted to leave a nice review because I had to cancel my trip because I got sick. I called the hotel and they nicely canceled my reservation even though my trip was not eligible for a refund. I got a whole refund and I thought that was really nice of them! Thanks again. ❤️

So beautiful hotel and so nice stuff! We enjoyed a lot to be there. The view is amazing. Also i liked very much the paintings on the walls.

Santa Clara was one of our stops during our vacation in Portugal. We spent 3 nights there. We had the whole hotel for us for 2 nights and then some other guests came. We loved our stay overall. The hotel was nice and the view was spectacular. The service was amazing and the attitude towards the service was great. The staff was candid and the manager was super nice. The breakfast was amazing as well. Everything was fresh and instantly served like on a seated breakfast, and the variety was satisfactory. We had a challenge with the air conditioning initially because apparently it needs to be turned on centrally for it to cool the room. However, the manager was very accommodating in the middle of the night to fix the issue since we arrived late that night to check in. Although we had a great stay and loved the whole experience, I realized that the price is a little high, but that is probably linked to the occupancy level. But I am not going to get into the hotel finance management….
