Santa Marina Beach Resort & Spa

I stayed in this hotel for a week and the impressions were not bad. Initially, the hotel consists of two parts... one is on the beach with a view of the sea and the second is opposite a main road with a view of the swimming pool...there are restaurants in both parts and you can choose either the central one or the other depending on your taste. Τhe main restaurant is big, with a bigger buffet and a view of the sea, but the service is not good, they are late to bringing you your drinks or bottle of water, while the second restaurant is small, quiet, with fewer choices, but definitely quality food and service. Really the waitress there, Christina, does her best to make you happy! we chose to eat our breakfast and dinner there! I give 5 stars for the impeccable service of the Pearl restaurant staff!

Me and my husband just had an amazing 10 night stay in this lovely hotel. Our first time in Crete and we were very pleased to stay in this lovely traditional hotel. All of the staff on reception were friendly, helpful and very welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was excellent and the staff in the restaurant were hard working and helpful. Christos especially made our holiday, with his friendly manner and hard working attitude. The patio overlooking the beach was serene and beautiful, the evening entertainment on some evenings fun and relaxing. We had a really wonderful holiday and hope to be back again.

We have just finished our holiday at this lovely hotel. We very much enjoyed our time here and would definitely return again and recommend to friends. This is such a lovely hotel with everything you need ... the staff are so welcoming and friendly at all times ... especially Michalis in the main bar area. He's very efficient even when exceptionally busy and always greets everyone with a happy friendly smile. He definitely deserves a bonus and is an asset to your company! The restaurant staff were also exceptional, very friendly and welcoming at all times and rushed off their feet most of the time but always ready to get you seated with drinks as soon as possible to enjoy your meal. Plenty of choice with food at all times. Local drinks were all fine but would of liked bit more choice on snacks at the beach bar. Many thanks Angie & Ian.
