We absolutely loved the overall aesthetics of the village, including the beautiful alleyways, the lush vegetation, and the wonderful pools. Our room had an amazing terrace with a gorgeous view of the sea. I know some guests mentioned the long distances to walk from one place to another within the village, but we liked it. The old town of Sozopol is literally 15 minutes away on foot from the Viva Mare restaurant in the southern part of the village. In the northern part, there are public beaches, which are great. Other things worth mentioning are Arkutino Beach, which is about a 10-minute drive away, and the Ravadinovo Castle.
Amazing place with lots of green areas, a lot of great pools and amazing views. Some parking places are very risky in high season due to inclination - I assume most of the cars will be dented by others. Also, some areas are neglected and it starts to show - it is sad to see unusable parks and cracked terrains. The inside of the complex is in good shape and they also have transportation.
Stayed here for 1 night shortly before the busy season. At first glance the resort complex looks impressive, but unfortunately our stay revealed that the accommodations and some amenities are not well maintained. First, the security wouldn't let us enter via the main gate and made us circle to the back of the village. When we entered through the rear gate we saw a swimming pool with green water and a sand pit playground with grass growing in it. The room was spacious and with a nice balcony, but what would've been a good view was blocked by a partially constructed building in the middle of the village. The room itself was fine but again with some things were not quite right. First it was humid in the room and the AC unit had no dehumidifier function and was generally loud and not operating normally. Then the water heater was set to a low temperature so we ran out of hot water during a shower. The hair dryer did not function. And the thing we found to be least comfortable was that the pillows on the bed were too thick which caused us neck pain and a poor night of sleep (and there were no other pillows). Overall, the hotel has potential and maybe we were unlucky during the off season time, but it definitely left something to be desired.
