A very good hotel with a great view from its balcony and its restaurant! Worth a Michelin star. The pool, sauna also very nice
I called two different numbers to get room service and no one answered. Unfortunately, my towel heater in my bathroom was not operable. The sauna/pool/hot tub was the therapy I needed after a long journey (Camino). It was SO warm resting poolside and watching the falls/river flow by. Being surrounded by the peace, catholic sights and churches today, when Pope Leo XIV was elected made for a beautiful, healing and restorative day. Which was exactly what I needed. Onto more Camino de Santiago walking tomorrow. Buon Camino!
My experience so far is shoddy at best. Poor sullen service. Most importantly it appears that the hotel is giving itself fraudulent reviews - the past 50 reviews on Booking.Com rate the hotel as "exceptional" without reason or comment or reviewer names or surnames - clearly fictitious, or written by the front desk or staff. Booking.Com should do more to verify the authenticity of the reviews on their site.
