Sant'Antonio Country Resort

We stayed at S. Antonio in Montepulciano for a very special occasion (our parents’ 50th wedding anniversary) and it truly exceeded every expectation. The accommodations were stunning: beautifully restored, authentic Tuscan apartments with breathtaking views of the countryside. Every detail was thoughtful and charming, blending rustic elegance with modern comfort. What made our stay unforgettable, though, was the hospitality. Nico, the owner, and his incredible staff went above and beyond to make our family feel welcome and cared for. From thoughtful local recommendations to helping us plan special moments during our celebration, they treated us like friends, not guests. The location was also ideal. It's peaceful and scenic, yet just a short drive to Montepulciano and other amazing villages. It gave us the best of both worlds: serene relaxation and easy access to explore Tuscany. S. Antonio is more than a place to stay, it’s an experience. We created lifelong memories here, and we’re already dreaming of coming back. Thank you, Nico, for making our family trip so special.

Spent 2 delightful weeks at Nico and Elena's gorgeous property, it was everything we'd hoped for and more. The staff was always helpful yet never intrusive. Nico would check in with us each time we saw him, making sure we had everything we needed. The rooms were all amazing, with the perfect amount of space and amenities. Our 11 year old son loved the pool and searching for insects (which were never a bother in the rooms). Sant Antonio is a very special place, we have never stayed anywhere else like it. Highly recommend!!

There are so many places in the world I want to see... and every once in a while, you find somewhere so special, so full of heart, that all you want to do is return. Sant’ Antonio is that place. Our entire family stayed here for a week to celebrate my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary, and it was truly unforgettable. The resort is a sanctuary. An 800-year-old former monastery in the hills yet minutes from the charm, food, and vibrancy of Montepulciano. Peaceful, beautiful, and infused with thoughtful details that make the place feel truly magical. The grounds are breathtaking; countryside views, olive groves, a great walking trail, and a lovely pool where we all spent hours swimming, playing, and soaking in the days. We explored, shared long meals, and were simply together - - all of which felt especially meaningful in a place that invites you to slow down and connect. Nico and Elena are incredibly kind, genuine, and generous hosts. You can tell this isn’t just a business - but a labor of love. They made us feel completely at home and went out of their way to help us mark the occasion. Offering thoughtful recommendations, sharing stories, and creating space for connection and joy. We learned that many guests return year after year. Some for over 20 years… and it's easy to see why. It’s hard to describe, really. But you’ll understand when you’re there. We all did. And though I long to see so much more of the world, I already know I’ll return to Sant’ Antonio. Some places stay with you. This is one of them.
