I stayed here for a month and was very disappointed at the standard of accommodation. TBH it had the feeling of a prison, the furniture was sparse, there was no English TV (not one channel) no WiFi, the bathroom floor was disgusting (see pic) and towels were limited to 1 bath towel and punishable by death if you took it from the rooms. You had to ask for an airer and ironing board. The place is overrun by feral cats who fight throughout the night. I had to laugh that they had to inspect the place before they returned my deposit, everything was only fit for the skip . Evoca are now refurbishing some of the bungalows and planning to shaft the inmates for high rents. Only the desperate and the vulnerable will stay. This review is about the property and owners and not about the staff who are very decent, honest, considerate and deserve 5 stars.
Inside swimmingpool? IT IS STILL CLOSED for 4 years!!!! Outside swimmingpool? Closed also and has to be renovated.. So, what is wrong more... 1. The WiFi is NOT working in your bungalow. Only in the restaurant. 2. So: no Digital TV (only analog Spanish network), no e-mail or computerconnection during your stay in your bungalow. It's "for free".... Right.... You have to arrange, pay and settle your own Wifi! 3. The prices are way to high. And ....after the renovation (it takes them about 2 years..) they will rise the rent even more (PLUS 70%!!!). 4. There is actually no 24/7 help when you need them. For some help during the night you have to wait till office hours! 5. You have to pay a deposit immediately up-front, but it takes them 2 weeks to pay it back when you leave. Even when everything is left perfectly and clean behind. 6. The renovationplans for the 180 bungalows are changing every week so the present guests do not know where they are going to be moved to during the renovation. 7. The communication with the guests is not sufficient enough. The older people are afraid of the future in this resort. 8. The local management has no say in anything whatsoever . It is all decided by and is up to.... the headoffice in........Madrid The personell is very nice and helpfull, but can't do a thing. They are afraid of their jobs 10. It's Fawlty Towers all over..... Remember the waiter?
We live in a bungalow here. The accommodation is fine. A nice restaurant but open very limited hours. Other facilities for elderly also limited. Thank goodness for supermarket, helpful reception staff and Malika.
