Santiago de Alfama Boutique Hotel

Santiago de Alfama is a gem in Lisbon! The location is great, and our stay was made truly special by the incredible staff and amenities. Rita, the concierge, deserves a shout-out. She was incredibly helpful, taking the time to explain the area and offering fantastic tips that enhanced our exploration of the city. She also helped us book a few day trips, and transfer to our next hotel. The breakfasts at the hotel's restaurant were superb, offering a delicious start to our day. We also thoroughly enjoyed the expertly made drinks in the evenings. Thank you Santiago de Alfama team for a truly memorable visit to Lisbon!

My husband and I decided to take a trip to Portugal for our 10-year anniversary, and we couldn’t be happier that we chose to spend most of our time at Santiago de Alfama. Every single aspect of this place feels full of heart and soul — from our warm welcome by Rita, Lana, and the rest of the team, to the incredible food and drinks at Audrey’s with Henrique and the amazing staff there. A special mention to the gentleman from Nepal, whose service was truly top-notch and made us feel so well cared for. The rooms were so comfortable that we instantly felt at home. The history of the building is fascinating, and the kindness from everyone we met made our stay unforgettable. Every interaction felt genuine, like they truly wanted us to feel as comfortable as possible. The location is unbeatable — just a short walk to Porta do Sol and other beautiful sights in Alfama. From start to finish, it was an amazing experience. We were sad to leave, but we can’t wait to recommend Santiago de Alfama to all of our friends who visit Lisbon.

Absolutely beautiful couple of days spent in this hotel. We were lucky enough to stay in the Santiago suite which had incredible views across the red roofs of Alfama and of the dock. The staff were knowledgeable and passionate, keen to engage and really took our experience to the next level. I thoroughly recommend the restaurant which served beautiful dishes. The bar snacks were impressive as well. It was my first time in Lisbon and I really felt like I was in the heart of the city. Most places were walkable and it was lovely to be in the historical part which has tons of character. I will definitely be returning.
