Old hotel but well maintained, there is a park and train station behind the hotel. Parking space is just in front of the hotel, very convenient. Room cleanliness is acceptable but room size is quite small. Our room view is very nice, facing the park. There is no air-conditioning in the room, so we requested front desk to open the window, they are very efficient in fulfilling our request. Breakfast choices was plenty and great! Overall we have a great stay at this hotel for a night, will be back again!

Great value hotel in a very accessible location to public transport. The service is old-fashioned, efficient, impeccable and great all around. The room is a bit dated (at least ours - I think that’s why this hotel is 4 stars now). Breakfast was great, plenty of choices and Japanese garden view was superb. Attentive & very courteous staff. Highly recommended.

We stayed here in Feb 2025 during the Sapporo Winter Festival for 4D3N. Pros: • The hotel's proximity to the station was fantastic, just a short walk away! Extremely convenient. • The hotel is located in front of a lovely park, though unfortunately, our room didn’t have a view of it. • It’s about a 10-15 minute walk to the shopping district, or you can opt for the train. • The room was spacious and included a table and chairs, which was perfect for us to enjoy our meals comfortably. Cons: • While the lobby looks quite stylish with a fireplace, the room design felt outdated. The in-room amenities included an old built-in radio, a credit card swiper broadband device, and pay-per-view channels—quite retro, to say the least. • The cleanliness was impeccable, but the pungent smell of the cleaning agent used in the bathtub lingered for quite a while :(. • The customer service left much to be desired. There wasn’t a warm, welcoming vibe, and to make matters worse, one of the front desk staff asked us where we were from. When we replied, he further questioned where we were "originally" from, assuming our ethnicity based on our appearance behind the masks. I found this behaviour rude and inappropriate, especially from a hotel staff. I was relieved not to encounter him again during our stay. Overall, the location was great, but we will likely look for another option when visiting Sapporo again.
