DO NOT BOOK BASED ON FALSE MADE UP AND BOUGHT REVIEWS. We fell for this trap of good reviews and booked the resort for the Independence Day long weekend with family of kids and senior citizen parents. Extremely laid back staff and zero customer service . Very highly priced for the kind of stay and service Negatives: 1. No service staff cannot speak any language nor understand requests other than Malayalam. 2. We asked for a bucket of ice to the room which was only provided after 1 hour and 4 repeated call requests. 3. We asked for TV remote to be fixed 4 times and no response and finally gave up. 4. Rooms were not cleaned next day inspite of placing the request. 5. Both clubhouse and play area has no working equipment and all games are either broken or parts missing and no one to manage. With rains and no pool access the kids were extremely bored. 6. Simple requests like sugar or matchbox had to be repeatedly placed yet no response and had to finally always ask the manager. 7. No one new about pricing for activities like home theatre or night safari and showed no interest in follow up 8. Inspite of incessant rains the evening high tea was kept in an outdoor space and patrons including kids and elders had to walk to this outdoor place getting drenched in rain to have tea. 9. They insisted we pay upfront the full amount and made us wait without as much as a welcome drink and only proceeded after we paid, I am now certain this was since they already new their resort was in shambles and service was non existent Positives: 1. Food is decent enough and the only plus point Overall, I strongly NOT recommend this resort for a holiday and should be avoided if at all possible.
One of the worst hospitality experiences we have ever had. We visited Sapta Resort with young kids and senior citizens, expecting a warm, premium experience. Instead, we were met with more hostility than hospitality. From the moment we arrived, there was no welcome, no guidance, and confusion around our booking. We were left waiting 10–15 minutes while staff figured things out, which set the tone for the rest of our stay. Every single time we requested room service or even something as basic as water bottle or towels, it took 30–45 minutes and multiple reminders before anything was delivered. Tea was served in a separate structure “in the middle of nowhere.” During the rainy season, this was highly inconvenient—especially with no umbrellas available and with kids and senior citizens in our group. When asked how they expected us to walk in the rain, the answer was - it's designed that way! Rude Management: The manager, Mr. Vishnu.S, was shockingly rude. When I tried explaining our concerns, he simply walked away. This is completely unacceptable and unprofessional for someone in hospitality. Pool & Safety: The swimming pool had people entering in full clothes, with no lifeguard, no towels, and no basic safety measures. Facilities: The kids’ play area and games room were poorly maintained, with missing or misplaced items. Absolutely tardy maintainance Excuses, Not Service: Whenever we raised issues, the only explanation given was that it was a “long weekend” and they were busy with a private function. This is unacceptable—especially since we paid premium prices, higher than usual rates, for a resort experience. Room Standards: No hair dryer, no housekeeping. The only silver lining was the food, which was decent and palatable. But beyond that, the entire stay was frustrating, disappointing, and nowhere close to the standards of a premium resort. Final word: Please avoid this resort at all costs. It is not worth the money, effort, or frustration.
