Saratoga Hotel Sultanahmet

We stayed here last week and it is an ideal hotel for a tourist. It is within walking distance of the blue mosque Hagia Sofia and Basilica cisterns. The tram stop is less than 10 mins walking distance. The street it is on is very quiet despite being so central. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the breakfasts really delicious. Staff were helpful,friendly and informative.. All in all, a great place to stay as a tourist.

Wonderful Stay at Saratoga Hotel – Perfectly Located in the Heart of Istanbul! I stayed at Saratoga Hotel during my recent vacation in Istanbul and had a truly enjoyable experience. The location is unbeatable — just a short walk from many of the city's major historical attractions like the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and the Grand Bazaar. It made exploring Istanbul on foot incredibly convenient and enjoyable. The service was outstanding throughout my stay. From check-in to check-out, the staff went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable and well taken care of. A special thank you to Hayreddin, who was exceptionally helpful — assisting me with currency exchange, navigating the metrobus system, and offering some great restaurant recommendations. His warm hospitality and local insights made a big difference in my trip. The breakfast buffet was also a highlight, offering a rich variety of fresh and delicious options to start the day right. Everything was well-prepared and regularly replenished, with something for every taste. One small note for travelers: the rooms may feel a bit compact for those used to more spacious accommodations. However, they are well-maintained, clean, and comfortable — and given the location, it’s a very reasonable trade-off. All in all, I highly recommend Saratoga Hotel for anyone looking for a centrally located stay with excellent service and authentic Turkish hospitality.

Small cute hotel in the best location for tourists in Istanbul. Just a 5 minute walk from Blue Mosque, 10 minute walk from Haga Sofía Mosque and Palacio Kopkapi. Clean rooms, comfy bed, great shower pressure and good breakfast included. Every hotel staff we encountered was really nice and welcoming.
