Saren Indah Hotel

We enjoyed our stay at this boutique hotel decorated in a traditional Bali style. The rooms were of a good size and the surroundings were serene and quiet. The lush natural style landscape made you feel like you escaped the city, but the location was perfect and close to the center of town. The street itself has tons of eating places in walking distance. And the pool was great to cool off in. The best was the staff! Ari and her staff make you feel welcome and Ari was always quick to respond to any email with inquiries. I will definitely come back here and highly recommend anyone looking for a cute hotel that doesn't break the bank. Another thing that stood out from others: they provided a big water bottle in the room with an electronic pump. This made refilling our water bottles so easy.

Stayed at Saren Indah for 5 nights, as I needed this location to attend a course, and had an absolutely good time. Super convenient, breakfast was great (fresh fruits and juice everyday), kind local owner and superb vegetation. Super well taken care garden with a variety of lotus flowers, different water lilies, hibiscus and frangipanis everywhere, and so much more. Surrounded by rice fields. The rooms are nice and have all the amenities you would need. Some claim that it is old but I find it charming and love the darker wooden furniture and ceiling. Pretty quiet, even though it is very centrally located. Will come back if I need to stay around that area. Bonus: you may have some monkeys playing near the cafe area, you can just enjoy and see them jumping and playing around.

Absolutely gorgeous hotel in such a great location. Away from the hustle and bustle of central Ubud but plenty of really lovely local restaurants and shops. So peaceful and we enjoyed watching the birds and local monkeys play. We even saw fireflies from our balcony! The staff here are so lovely and attentive. The breakfast is good and there is a little on sites restaurant too. Big beautiful rooms,clean and spotless. Even a bathtub to relax in and gaze across the paddy fields towards the monkey Forrest. All amenities including tea coffee, soaps and shampoo and a big water bottle in the room to use (6ltr?) Excellent and hope we an stay again one day. 🙏
