Our family had an extended stay at Saro Maria Hotel, and we’re truly grateful for the experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and cared for—everyone from the bellboys and front desk receptionists to the housekeeping team consistently went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable. Their kindness, professionalism, and genuine warmth made a lasting impression on us. The rooms were always clean and well-kept, and housekeeping was incredibly responsive to our specific needs—even accommodating our family’s varying schedules with patience and flexibility. A special thanks to Mr. Solomon, who handled our booking process with great professionalism and care. His attention to detail and calm demeanor made the logistics of our long stay smooth and stress-free. We also really enjoyed the breakfast buffet—there was a wide variety of delicious options to choose from each day, which kept things fresh and enjoyable throughout our stay. The staff at the restaurant were equally outstanding, particularly Khalid and Yemarshet, who were always friendly and attentive. They remembered our preferences and made us feel like part of the Saro Maria family. We’d also like to give a special shoutout to Kedir, the on-site barber, who was incredibly accommodating to both me and my kids. He was patient, skilled, and always made time for us, even on short notice. His friendly manner and attention to detail made getting a haircut something we all actually looked forward to. Overall, Saro Maria Hotel provided not just a place to stay, but a welcoming and supportive environment during our time in Addis. We would gladly return and highly recommend it to others seeking comfort, convenience, and heartfelt hospitality.

This hotel is amazing — the staff are friendly and the food is delicious. Simur and Melnit always welcomed guests with a smile, making our breakfast experience very comfortable and enjoyable. The bread was especially tasty, and the freshly made coffee was fantastic. The location is also close to the airport and Shinhye, so we had an absolutely wonderful week. I highly recommend this place to foreigners visiting Addis Ababa.
