Sassongher

Staying in Hotel Sassongher was the best decision we've made in our Dolomites vacation. The staff and the owner were very nice and accommodating. The food that was served for breakfast and dinner was amazing especially the steak. My wife had tried other tiramisu in Italy and she also makes it but she still can't get over their tiramisu. Thank you, Hotel Sassongher!

This was my eighth visit to the Dolomites but my first time in Corvara and the first time at hotel Sassongher. I must say, the experience was exceptional. My five friends and I habitually opt for 4/5 star accommodations, yet the level of service at this hotel surpassed our expectations. From the bar with live pianist/singer (with a great, and not too loud, voice / music) to breakfast, the ski shuttle service, and the universally amiable staff — ranging from the receptionists to the housekeeping team — every aspect was flawless. To everyone at the Sassongher Hotel: my great compliments! You made our stay one of the best we ever experienced!

Its a magnificient alpine hotel, two words what you can expect: tradition & warmth: classical fitout, classical cuisine, and staff which is extremly attentive but also truely caring. We had many great interactions with them, especially how they talked with the children, makes you feel truly welcome. The hotel is a 15min walk from the village centre, but it pais back with a beautiful view over the village with its elevated position. And bycicle friendly as well, btw.
