Savoia Hotel Country House

Very luxurious and well maintained room. Breakfast was exceptional. The hotel is outside the old town and if you have a car it will be very convenient. There are buses to the old town which talks 20 minutes. Otherwise taxi is an option.

I recently stayed at Hotel County House Savoia in Bologna, Italy, and I must say it was an excellent experience. One of the highlights of my stay was the well-balanced breakfast they offered. The selection of food was impressive, and the quality was top-notch. Starting my day with such a delicious breakfast truly set the tone for a great day ahead. The location of the hotel is also worth mentioning. Situated near Bologna, it provided convenient access to the city while offering a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle. Exploring the charming streets of Bologna was made easy due to the hotel's proximity. Furthermore, the hotel's beautiful gardens added a touch of tranquility to my stay. It was a pleasure to relax amidst the greenery and enjoy the serene atmosphere. The gardens provided a peaceful escape from the busy city, allowing me to unwind and recharge. Overall, Hotel County House Savoia exceeded my expectations. With its excellent breakfast, convenient location near Bologna, and captivating gardens, it is an ideal choice for anyone seeking a delightful and memorable stay in the area.

Very expensive, very overpriced for the actual experience. I do not understand the reviews or ratings given to this hotel, let alone the fact they call themselves a 4 star hotel. Any amenities are located at the sister hotel (within walking distanc), not at this actual hotel. Rooms are small and grimey, smell musty and damp with mosquitoes everywhere. Bathrooms feel wet and musty - tile and joints are gross with mold and mildew growing. Stayed there for a few days for a local tradeshow. Expensive for what it is and taxis are a required, making this hotel poor value. The grounds were charming, but the staff was a bit rude. AC gets turned off by September, even though the rooms were roasting. I was told to open the window, which I did, but it was noisy and maybe most importantly, the screens were broken so my room became infested by mosquitoes. Not a relaxing stay. Not worth the price.
