Savoy Hotel

The location is great, it's centrally located and so close to all sights and major attractions. The rooms are spacious, quiet and very clean. The owners were very friendly and always willing to help. The breakfast buffet was very fresh and good. Overall a very clean, nice Hotel, highly recommend for anyone visiting Italy.

Well priced accommodation at a great location close to both the train station & old town centre. Our room was very quiet even thought it fronted the street. Good window furnishings resulted in the room being nicely dark in the mornings. Our double room was adequate in size & clean. It had a modern feel to it even though it is in an older building. The included breakfast was continental with no hot dishes but the lovely lady in charge made coffee & pancakes to order, & there was a pleasant array of cold cuts/cheese & pastries. We would stay here again & recommend.

The hotel is not bad and the location is great. But unfortunately, I would not stay there again and would not recommend it to anyone. The reception staff was extremely rude. And then it happened... I live in Canada and Italy and travel a lot around the world. For the first time in my life, I encountered such an absurd situation in any country! I forgot one of my things (a skirt) at the hotel, I called them the same day after leaving. They asked me to call back the next day and then announced that they had found nothing. When I tried to explain that this was not possible, the reception simply hung up. I came to Parma for a performance at the theater and had no luggage, only a sweater and a skirt for going out. It's good that I was there for one night and did not leave anything unattended, for example documents. After all, the same situation could have happened with my more valuable things after cleaning the room. The situation is absolutely strange! And there is nothing you can do about it. Well, you can't call the police because of a skirt. It wasnt expensive but one if my favourite.
