Scala Hotel Buenos Aires

It’s a great looking hotel, unfortunately I didn’t have a lot of time here so I couldn’t check out facilities such as gym, restaurant etc. rooms are lovely and from my balcony on the 11th floor the view was very nice. I only had a problem with the bath tub as not only was there no water plug but also some black stuff came out of the jacuzzi jets which put me off the idea of having a bath. Having said that I enjoyed my stay and the bed was really comfy.

I stayed at Scala Hotel two times in February 2025 and i am not shure that it deserves the fourth star. My luggage was delayed one week, so I needed extra service and I did not get it. One met almost hostility at the reception. Cleaning staff and bell-boys were friendly and the rooms were ok. Unfortunately the balcony is useless because of the noise from the street/highway.

It was a WORST SERVICE ever. 😡😡😡😡 It's NOT A INTERNATIONAL HOTEL SERVICE... 1.Breakfast Because of the tour schedule, My group need to eat breakfast earlier than normal breakfast time. So, they prepared our breakfast, BUT.. It was not a breakfast quality that they served normally. Eventhough there are no seat to eat and just bread and coffe. but we paid normal price. If they prepared like this, they HAVE TO NOTICED US before they said can prepared early breakfast. I was SO DISAPPOINTED about breakfast... 2. Reception When I checked in, they said they will bring my luggage to my room. but they won't coming eventhogh 40min after I checked in. So I call to reception, and ask a situation, but the woman who got call just said SHE CAN'T UNDERSTAND MY ENGLISH. and said that I need to come to reception not trying to understand what I'm saying. I think it was not a right hotelier attitude who worked in international hotel. 😡😡😡😡😡They need to change a receptioner to who can speak English way better and way more understanding. I just like HOTEL LOCATION. If you concerned to stay here I strongly recommend to stay other hotel near this location. 😡😡😡😡
