Scandic Billingen

The hotel have two different parts. My guess is that there are two different houses which have been amalgamated to one hotel . We lived in the part of the hotel where the rooms were big and the corridors spacious. The other part of the hotel where the saunas are located seemed newer but with more tight space and rooms closer to each other . We are glad we didn’t stay there. Our part seemed more luxurious. Reception good. Some staff excellent some just doing there job. Breakfast maybe the weakest part of the hotel . Quite uninspiring choices and far too fruits for instance. Free shuffleboard was great. Hotel gives off a good vibe compared to many other Scandic hotels. Location is great with a stones throw away from the small center. Parking right outside the hotel is great. Free nights , Saturday after four and the whole of Sunday .

Fantastic hotel! Beautiful and cozy, near everything in Skövde central. The staff were polite, professional and very helpful. The shuffleboard was a big hit with my family! The breakfast buffet has just about everything you could wish for, and something for everyone especially those with food restrictions. Even better were the positive and encouraging messages placed everywhere, even handwritten on the boiled eggs. It made for an even more enjoyable breakfast, and made us feel warmly welcomed and taken care of. I highly recommend this hotel, and will absolutely be back in the future!

From outside it looks great. Inside it's a different story. Rooms are old and worn out. Tiny rooms. Corridors with some visible additional installations. The breakfast is very good with plenty to choose. There is also small gym which I liked and sauna. Even though it's far away from perfect, compering to the other hotels nearby this one is the best one.
