Scandic Copenhagen

Great location being roughly 10 minutes from the train station and Tivoli gardens. Staff were really friendly and helpful when required. We didn't have dinner in the restaurant but the breakfast was excellent. There were so many options that you couldn't possibly not enjoy something. Plenty to choose from and cooked to a good standard as well. Every morning the kids were given a sweet from staff as well (if the Unicorn didnt appear...) Had to knock a star off for the bed we had. We had a family room and the mattress was really thin. I woke up a lot during the night unfortunately so couldn't quite give it 5 stars. Otherwise a great hotel.

This is a quiet yet a convenient place. The room is fine. It has everything I need. However it's a bit tight for four people. There is a kid zone on ground floor. It's good for a group of kids to play together. There's a table tennis table and a foosball.

We’re currently staying at Scandic and the experience has been incredibly disappointing. The room is extremely hot and uncomfortable at night. The temperature stayed consistently above 26°C (79°F). There’s no real air conditioning, only warm air circulation that does nothing to bring the temperature down. We haven’t been able to sleep, and with children in the room, it’s been especially difficult and frustrating. Housekeeping has been inconsistent and minimal. They didn’t pick up a tray my kids accidentally left on the floor, and towels are barely changed. We booked a room for four people and were only given four towels total one per person. That’s expected to cover your hands, face, and body. We didn’t request more, but honestly, they should offer at least a couple of extra small towels automatically for a family room. On a positive note, the location is great, close to everything we needed and convenient for exploring the city. Also, the breakfast buffet is good while a bit pricey, it offers a lot of variety, and the staff at breakfast were very friendly and helpful, which we appreciated. Still, the lack of comfort, ventilation, and basic hospitality in the room which are priorities for us makes it hard to recommend. For the price, we expected better. This hotel is not a 4-star hotel at all, very disappointed.
