Scandic Eden Nokia

I love this place. Perfect for a family getaway. I'm docking some stars for the location: While it's a very beautiful location it's very inconvenient for anyone not arriving by their own car. Public transport to Tampere? Very inconvenient.

We spent a Saturday night in a fully booked hotel. We had booked and got a renovated room which was well presented and comfortable. The best part of staying here apart from the fantastic lake views is of course the indoor water park which is included on the rate and closeness to Tampere. We were easilly able to spend the evening and part of the morning in the water park while still managing to do everything we wanted in Tampere. Two long slides. Three warm bubble pools. Small outdoor pool and large indoor pool with wave machine every hour is what you can expect plus two regular sauna and a good steam sauna. There are two breakfast rooms, at least when the hotel is fully booked. The upstairs one is in older surroundings but also has access to a roof terrace and is a bit calmer than the chaotic larger one. So a great trip and we will come again but not in summer as the rooms despite renovation have no air conditioning and only a very small opening window. This led to the temperature being too warm the ensure a good night's sleep sadly.

This is a good family hotel, where all members of the family can have fun together and enjoy the facilities. Our room was very specious, clean, and comfortable. We all enjoyed the facilities.
