Scandic Front

Fantastic variety for breakfast, brilliant location. Not wanting to be negative, as we had a lovely few days here, but for the price paid, I think I'd expected the decor to be a little less tatty, the bedside light to work and the chairs in our room to be a little bit more comfortable, but on the plus side, the views from the balcony window were really good and our room was spacious.

Very average hotel. Room was great in size but air conditioning did not work well at all. Great location but dont expect to be blown away.

While the location is truly excellent — right by the waterfront and within walking distance of many key attractions — the overall experience is disappointing, especially considering the price point. For €300 per night, I expected much more. The room is quite dated, with visible wear and tear throughout — furniture was worn down, and some pieces were literally falling apart. There was no fridge, no shelf space for clothes, not even a towel mat in front of the shower. It felt more like a budget room than something in this price range. The hotel does have potential, and the staff were friendly, but in its current condition, it simply doesn’t offer good value for money. I hope the rooms will be renovated soon, because right now, it’s hard to justify the cost.
