Scandic Göteborg Central

It was a great experience staying at Scandic Göteborg Central and breakfast option was a worth it. As the name suggests it’s 10 min walk from Central station (currently due to construction a bit diverted way) The hotel is brand new and has great amenities to offer. As mentioned before, the breakfast option is great to try. Plenty of continental options and lot of spaces to sit around. You get a QR code in room to book the convenient time suitable for you to enjoy the breakfast. Usual time: 7:00-11:00 (it may vary) One improvement could be adding double bed configuration to the family rooms instead of two single beds as some may prefer that. Due to our need, we adjusted to another room with double bed and felt a bit downgrade to us. The staff were very polite and nice to help/guide on whatever needed. Especially we really appreciated the continuous hard work by a lady staff in black coat who was not only working hard but managing the breakfast /food availability for everyone and helping if any help was needed in the rush hour. Unfortunately, we missed to Thank her and know her name. Please convey the message. There’s a rooftop bar & cafe restaurants etc within the hotel building so lot of space to sit and work / leisure if based on your need. Overall it was a great stay at Scania Göteborg Central and I’d definitely recommend anyone. Cheers!

Nice hotel with very friendly receptionist staff and clean rooms. Very central. Big rooftop terrace. The hotel is huge and can be a bit hard to navigate (rooms can be quite far from the lift). Great breakfast buffet. Only memorable downside was check in from 1600 so make sure you check in either early or late to avoid waiting for check in at peak time.

Very small rooms, beautiful building and facility. We enjoyed the breakfast, check in took almost 2 hours and for a new building it has no air conditioning in the rooms which was very frustrating. The best part of the hotel are the numerous food options and the rooftop bar.
