Scandic Hämeenlinna City

This hotel appears to be well past its due date. The rooms while spacious are dated and tired. We were here in the summer, and the lack of air-conditioning turns the rooms into veritable saunas. There are fans in each room, but they do little to provide respite from the heat. The swimming pool in the basement is the only way one can cool down. The breakfast offers a decent selection of choices

Old hotel, rooms are without aircon. Hallways were pretty worn. Our room was renovated room, which was nice. It was clean and comfy. Hotel parking was hard to find. In parking hall, all the places were full and spots would have been very narrow anyways. Couldn't find the other parking lot, so parked on the street.

This hotel stands out in terms of standard and experience in relation to the standard I experienced previously at Scandic's other hotels in Finland. I feel that there was very good service at the reception. The restaurant staff were very friendly and always solved our wishes. The food is really good if you again compare with other Scandic hotels in Finland.
