Scandic Lillehammer Hotel

I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful hotel in Norway. The location was perfect, offering stunning views and easy access to explore the surroundings. The breakfast was delightful, with a variety of delicious options to start the day. The landscaping was incredible, creating a serene and picturesque environment. The hotel itself exuded luxury and classic charm, featuring numerous inviting seating areas that encouraged relaxation. However, there were some areas for improvement. The bathroom layout was quite poorly designed, with the toilet seat positioned almost under the sink, making it uncomfortable to move. Additionally, the bathroom lacked wall outlets, which made it difficult to use a hairdryer conveniently. The shower door was also unsafe, as it was not securely fixed and could swing both ways, posing a safety risk and making it potentially slippery during use. Despite these minor issues, it was a great experience overall, and I would definitely recommend this hotel for its beauty and welcoming atmosphere.

Room was great but the window handler was broken so it took a while for us to figure out how to open the window. Other than that, the room amenities looks great. There's indoor and outdoor pool available but I didn't get to checkout the indoor pool. Breakfast is also good with great variety, lunch buffet was also amazing especially with their many gluten free option. I will miss the gluten free chocolate cake a lot. The hotel is also the only one in town that has a big enough size to host a conference so there are different section of the hotel to explore while you're there.

It is a big hotel in Lillehammer. Rooms are good size. The upkeep could be better. One box on a ledge was loose. There I was an empty clearance for a missing Kleenex box, etc. The breakfast area is spacious and a good selection for breakfast.
