Scandic Mölndal

Scandic Mölndal offers a convenient stay for travelers looking to be close to shopping and dining options. Located next to a mall with a big grocery store, it provides easy access to daily necessities and restaurants. Public transportation is also conveniently located within about an 8-minute walk, making it easy to explore the area without relying on expensive taxis. A taxi ride to or from Gothenburg Central Station costs around $40–$50 for a trip that’s less than 15 minutes. The rooms are clean, well laid out, and feature high ceilings with an open, modern design that adds to the overall comfort. Guests should note the glass elevator, which might take some getting used to for those with a fear of heights. One downside is the shower design—it’s quite compact and doesn’t do a good job of containing water, so you’ll often end up with a wet bathroom floor. Taller guests might also find the shower area too cramped to turn around comfortably. Free Wi-Fi and an excellent breakfast selection that starts as early as 6:30 am make it a solid choice for both business and leisure travelers who need to get an early start to their day. I enjoyed the stay, rooms felt very clean and comfortable bed. Service was ok, felt a bit short staffed but it might have been because I checked in right before restaurant closed. Location was perfect for us, very easy to get to. We did not need parking so that might change to 4 stars if its bad or annoying.

For groups living around Gothenburg, this is not the best location for meeting. But as a place to stay it is good, but not central
