Scandic Odense

Nice clean hotel, like all other Scandic hotels we've been too. Breakfast was good too. Location was a bit far from Odense center as I thought. But as a scandic member, children should get free mocktails during stay, but they didn't mention/offer them. Saw the benefits after stay, when we got the thank you mail for our stay, so a bit disappointed for that little detail.

Never again. The temperature outside was 23C but inside it was really hot. The hotel has no airconditioning but a ceiling fan. Had a terrible night cause when you open a window the sound of cars is very loud and the fumes get into your room. It was hard to catch a well deserved sleep. The light at the door would only go out when you get your doorcard out. But that way you can't put on a bed light. The shower had no power, it was very weak. Other guests where complaining about the heat too. In the morning the maid put the door at the emergency exit open to let some cool air in. The only positive thing was the breakfast they have. That was very nice. Will not book a Scandic again.

Hotel is outdated and below the normal standard of Scandic. The personnel are great though but location is also not great in an industrial locations outside of the city. And rooms are generally outdated.
