We really only used this as a place to sleep, whilst visiting friends in Stockholm. Nice standard hotel room w nice bedding. Free coffee machine in foyer and snacks for purchase, very handy. Nice location on edge of park and short walk into main town.
The hotel is okay, but service left a lot to be desired. Upon check-in, I was given no information and did not feel welcomed. The two receptionists on duty seemed indifferent, and I was not informed about the Wi-Fi. There was no information in the room or on the key card holder regarding hotel facilities or services. I asked if room service was available, as I arrived late, and was told the kitchen was closing in ten minutes. However, there was no menu or even a phone in the room. I later found out there is no room service at all. I had to rush to the restaurant, arriving just two minutes before closing, and was told I could only choose between two dishes. When I requested a second glass of wine, I was refused because they were closing. The gym equipment is outdated but functional. The room itself was fine but lacked basics such as hotel information and a stocked minibar (it was completely empty). On a positive note, every housekeeping staff member I encountered was warm, friendly, and service-minded, always greeting me with a smile. The gentleman who checked us out was also very pleasant, proving that some staff do understand good service.
I had booked a twin superior room. The staff wanted to put me in a single room because I was alone. No questions regarding if I needed a bigger room (I had planned a business meeting). Hotel offered me free breakfasts that I’m already entitled to according to my membership level. I booked a new room and had to pay for a taxi to the new hotel. I stay 50-100 nights a year at hotels. This was my worst hotel experience ever. I advice you to avoid.
