Convenient location. Friendly and helpful reception. Bed not too big but slept very well. Very good and versatile breakfast though the bacon wasn't great.

Yes the place is dated (>100 years) but don't let that fool you into thinking this place is rundown. Room was spacious and clean with comfortable bedding. Check in/out was a breeze and welcomed with friendly Finnish hospitality. Hotel. Also has sauna and gym which is awesome. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic with very good varied spread and great service! Being right in central Turku I'll say this hotel has everything and more for the price paid.

The only good things about the hotel are the kind staff and the central location. However, the room we were given was in a terrible condition - the furniture was quite old and worn out and it was quite dirty. There was dust on the desk, mould in the bathroom and the pillows had nasty blood stains all over and the pillow cases didn't seem to have been replaced. We did ask for a new set of pillows and they were kind enough to give us ones and apologized for this, but still, it would be great if these things are checked before the guests arrive, instead of waiting for them to complain. It's kind of disrespectful to offer the rooms in that state, especially considering this is not among the cheapest hotels.
