Scandic Pohjanhovi

Super friendly staff. We stayed in a different accommendation where we could not leave our luggage after check out. The lady at the reception in the Scandic helped us as we stayed before two nights in the Scandic in Tromso. Thank you so much.

Low-level hotel. We arrived at the hotel as part of a group, the room itself is nice and equipped with a TV. Some of the bedding had stains and there was a hair on one of the towels in the shower. The shower itself is very small with a claustrophobic feeling. One of the rooms we were given had no door to the shower, which forced us to change rooms. The breakfast was good and varied, but the dinner was not varied and of a really low standard. I will probably not return to this hotel.

Disgusting hotel. They stuck us in their old building (even though they have a new one). The room is not clean, no fridge, the mattresses are hell to sleep on! I literally slept on the floor on my second night, after which i demanded a change to the new building which i discovered by myself btw, no one told me about it. The new building is so far away from the hotel lobby and you have to go through an underground tunnel to reach to it. It’s ridiculous tbh. And don’t get me started on the cleanliness of their breakfast… The variety is good.. but we literally found an insect in their orange juice. And it’s not like the price is cheap!! It’s literally 300$ per night! And compared to the other hotels, this one is the furthest away from the center, and situated at a bottom of an incline that leads to the center. Plus, they don’t have proper room service! If you wanna order room service you have to pay 10€ for someone to simply go up and bring you whatever you ordered! So you’re really not getting anything compared to the price you’re paying. I don’t recommend it at all.
