Scandic Royal Stavanger

Great hotel in the middle of the city! It was easy to take a flybussen bus there, the bus terminal is 7 minutes away, and the center of the city is just a short walk. The rooms were very modern and nice. The sauna and the hot tub worked. The breakfast was amazing too. Staff was excellent and I had no problems there.

Outstanding Breakfast Experience – Thank You, Jole! I’ve been staying at the Scandic Royal Stavanger and one of the true highlights of my mornings has been the breakfast service. The variety and quality of the food are excellent, but what truly makes the experience special is the staff—especially Iole. I want to sincerely thank Jole for her kindness, professionalism, and the warmth she brings to her work. Every morning, even at the earliest hours, she welcomes guests with a smile and an incredible energy that doesn’t go unnoticed. It’s clear she truly cares about making sure everyone starts their day in the best way possible. A heartfelt thank you also to the entire breakfast team—you’re all up and working hard before most of us are even awake, and it’s genuinely appreciated.

Very busy hotel. Young staff, and they seem a bit green. Feels as though they are students working over the summer. Room is clean with good facilities. Reception staff are approachable and have helped navigate the local area.
