Scandic Sluseholmen

The hotel is located in a beautiful part of Copenhagen. The breakfast was really good with a lot of items to pick from. Whenever me and my family need help with something they always care for us. The rooms are also well managed and have comfortable beds. The only thing I would change is to include AC in the rooms👍

Our room was clean and comfortable. It was so nice that the window opened. The location is very good for the price. The area was beautiful. It felt safe to walk around at all hours. We are big walkers, so it wasn't a problem for us to walk to or from the city center. The hotel also offers bike rentals. I imagine an Uber wouldn't be expensive. This hotel also offers an included breakfast. Which is very good. They also make the absolute best ginger shots. I wish that I had their recipe. It was so delicious. The staff was friendly and helpful.

They really strive for the bare minimum. We probably wouldn't stay again. It does not offer much housekeeping and has a mostly-useless bar/restaurant (closed Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, and closed by 10 or 11 other nights), which would be okay, except there is not much else in the nearby area. Also, if you are hoping for AC, you won't find it here. Rooms get hot. Regarding bare minimum: in rooms, there was no phone to contact the front desk, no tissues, no clock, no hand lotion, no outlet converters for those traveling internationally and none available at the front desk. For ventilation, 1 window opens a crack. Mattress about 3cm thick. The bathroom had 1 towel. The shower had 1/2 a glass door. Yes, you must schedule your own housekeeping, but no, you cannot select a time that works for you. The breakfast is great, we recommend that, though again - make sure you schedule it the night before. Hotels don't have to be luxurious, but they don't have to skimp, either. If you're used to modern hotels, this misses the mark.
