Spent 5 nights at the Scandic recently. Good first impressions, nice room with a view of the Port. Comfortable bed and slept really well. The breakfast was excellent, anything you could possibly want. We skipped lunch as we had a big breakfast. Location is great, just a 10 minute walk to the city centre. Room prices are very reasonable considering we spent Easter there. It's a 20 minute drive to the airport, and taxis can be booked from reception costing around £35. Overall great value and quality.

Staff: friendly Location: nice and within 3-4min of the nice streets Beds: great and soft Parking: a tad difficult, max height 210cm, not enough space in the hotel garage for the amount of guests. Possible to find parking within a 3min drive, but it's a walk not great having when the rain is pouring down🤣 Breakfast: food is bathing in oil, the scrambled eggs are guaranteed to be from a bag, not real eggs, croissants were dripping in oil and the hands are wet after having one. Conclusion, been to the toilet for the last half hour, got a film of oil in my mouth even after two coffees, one glass of water and 30 pieces of melon. Btw, the melon was great and tasty

Rooms are fine for a family of 4, when we checked in the lady was friendly and the young lady at breakfast was lovely. However when we checked out the man didn't even speak to us, he just held out the payment terminal and that was it. Rooms were very warm, shower head needed to be in a certain position to not flood the bathroom and the grouting was mouldy. Parking is horrendous and they should make it clear there are only 20 spots in the tiny garage and if you enquire you get a curt reaponse "no reservations, first come first served" no sorry and no suggestions of where you can park. We ended up on a spot that was only available from 14.00-0700 so had to get up before 6 to pack and leave before 7. Breakfast was good and the location too even though the view was into several other bedrooms at close quarters. For 1 night ok but an expensive option
