This was a good place to stay for its value in a super location, steps away from Lilla Torg and walking distance to many other sights and conveniences, like the Central Train Station. She’s a bit tired, this building, needing some serious investment $ into refurbishing, deep cleaning, and general maintenance. We felt pretty inconvenienced with the broken lift. There were people there working on it every day, but we made many trips up and down the two long flights of stairs for the duration of our stay. It seemed our heater in our room was off (beyond our control) most of the time, so we were a bit cold, despite trying to adjust it. We did enjoy the heated floor in the bathroom. The beds were fine, not spectacularly comfy. The breakfast in the morning was perhaps one of the highlights, along with the very friendly service of all the hotel staff we encountered. Thank you for a great stay!
Located on top of a night club that blasts trashy music until 3am on Monday nights. Edit: I had a really good experience with the front desk who were really nice and who changed my room, so I have updated my review. I still think the hotel should warn its guests about the loud rooms.
ㅡ Worst Hotel Experience Ever ㅡ I had the worst experience at this hotel. The window frames are so poorly sealed that I could hear loud music blasting until 3 a.m., making it impossible to sleep. When I mentioned this at check-out, the staff simply said there was nothing they could do about the noise. But that’s not all. The bedding smelled unpleasant, which made it even harder to rest. If a hotel can’t provide a place where guests can sleep, it has no value as a hotel. Also, the hotel is under construction and looks nothing like the photos on Google. The only reason I'm giving 1 star is because the breakfast was decent.
