Scandic Voss

Rooms are clean. I had booked room for three and had to ask for extra blankets after checking in. Not a big deal break but since I paid for it I would have expected it to be in the room. Breakfast buffet is good. During my visit, breakfast rush was at the open.

Good location and well designed, modern rooms, staff was very friendly. Got a bar in the hotel with a nice balcony with lake view. Nice rooftop sauna and gym. Tasty, large and diverse breakfast. But, the room A/C isn't that great (when 31c hot outside), and parking at a cost (190NOK for 24H) in the adjacent garage.

⭐☆☆☆☆ (1 star) We came from Sweden to stay at Scandic Voss during our summer vacation, but our experience was extremely disappointing — especially as Scandic membership holders. The first room we received was dirty, smelly, and totally unacceptable: • The toilet was not cleaned and had a strong bad odor. • The mirrors and windows were full of dust. • Even worse, we found a used tea bag and dirty tea-making spoons left behind. This clearly showed the room had not been cleaned properly at all. Our peaceful holiday mindset was completely ruined. We had come to relax with my wife, daughter, and mother-in-law, but instead we felt frustrated and uncomfortable. After we complained, the staff gave us another room — but by then the experience was already spoiled. This kind of poor service should never happen, especially not to loyal Scandic members. We are not recommending this Scandic hotel to anyone. Very bad experience.
