Scarborough Beach Resort Brisbane

Love it. Great view of beach, park etc from rooms and balcony across the front of our apartment (302). Freshly renovated. Fabulous coffee shops/lunch immediately underneath. Secure car parking, all resort amenities you could wish for. Bus service at door.

Absolutely fantastic the staff were fantastic. I did meet them as I arrived late but it was so easy to get access to my keys. The room was amazing and the location was great. I will definitely be back. I was also a former Resort Manager and I was extremely happy and I have high standards.

If I could present this motel with a zero I would. Phoned and spoke to the receptionist to inquire about a "suitable" room for my 87 year old mother and myself. Advised that they had a suitable room and booked for 3 nights as my mother was relocating to Cairns with myself. In arrival at the room I found it to have 1 queen sized bed and no bed for the second person. When this was discussed I was advised this is the room I booked even despite advising that we needed a suitable room for mum and I.. there was no sorry to be given. I was advised that I had not stated I wanted two beds. when asking for a suitable room I did ask for 2 beds. I believe out of respect for my mother that this would have been fairly obvious. I was then told that there was nothing wrong as a 94 year old mother and daughter had shared that same bed and booked out that morning. This I also felt was not my business or to do with my situation. Being late in the afternoon my mother and I then had to find another room leaving the possibility of my mother having nowhere to sleep. Again no apology but was rudely told to stop being nasty. No consideration at all was given through the whole process. When I asked for my money to be returned I was advised they would charge an admin fee.. in my view this is one motel to avoid. I do not wish for others to be subjected to the same experience and feel that I needed to share.
