Beautiful spot. Staff were amazing, friendly and helpful. Room was perfect and the food was great. Highly recommend the Salmon and the Lamb Shank, and for dessert the mud cake and coconut ice cream.
Scenic Hotel Punakaiki was exactly what we needed clean, quiet rooms, friendly staff, and a calming atmosphere that matched the stunning surroundings. The hotel is right in front of the ocean, so you wake up to the sound of waves and can unwind with the most peaceful views. Everything felt well maintained and easy no stress, just pure relaxation. It also offers great value for money, especially for such a scenic, restful location. Great location. Room was lacking bowls and forks, and the dinner menu was limited and no microwave available in rooms. Rooms had heater, ample towels and connecting doors. Parking was difficult for some rooms and hard to manoeuvre out back. Friendly staff, would stay again.
