Scenic Hotel Te Pania

Thank you Scenic Hotel Te Pania. We had a nice stay in a nice clean room with great views. Breakfast was very nice. I would recommend for people to stay here as its close to town with lovely views of Ocean. The Staff were lovely.

Great place to stay in Napier. Arrived in the room to some mini cookies which the kids loved. Amazing view of the sunrise in the morning. Great location to all the popular cafes and restaurants. Loved the fact that we could go across the road and the kids could scooter everywhere. Would definitely recommend to friends and family and would love to come back again soon

On arrival we were greeted by a lovely man. Check in was quick and easy. Room was lovely and tidy except for some hair missed under the rubber bath mat. I was not concerned about this and removed it with some paper. Not much sound proofing and you get noise from inside and outside. Bed was super comfy and loved the opening windows. They would be lovely in summer. To get a decent sea view you need to be on floors 4 and up. We were on 2 and view was limited, but we paid accordingly. The receptionist in the evening was not helpful. I'm use to reception making bookings, not being unhelpful and then telling us to go see her and pointing to the restaurant. Restaurant ladies were wonderful. Food, however, was lacking. Chips were great but chicken was dry and salad was just 2 slices of radish and a large handful of lettuce mix, with some sort of dressing. Pulled pork burger tasted ok but lack of greens made the meat mixture seem very rich. To top off the stay we were woken with a call at 2145 to say the paper wouldn't be available in the morning. I would have been happier with no call at all! Overall, we will not stay here again.
