Schloss Auel Boutique Hotel & Design Golf Lodge

I was able to get a wonderful room for two in a very short notice. The junior suite, which I reserved, was wonderful. Living room with fascinating coffee table books. Bedroom with fine big bed and a clean and spacious bathroom. The peaceful nature and the golf course surrounding the castle was relaxing after big city hustle. Honest recommendation.

Stylish rooms fitting the historic setting, with modern bathroom. Friendly staff at the reception. Continental breakfast in nice setting with in- and outdoor seating. Staff busy with ...what? Bar and restaurant are both separate from hotel even though they are located in the same building. Restaurant offers great selection of international dishes served by friendly staff. Apart from airplanes approaching the nearby airport, this accommodation offers a nice countryside setting.

Our shower was clogged, ubers won't come there, the receptionist ordered us a taxi to the wrong train station, the keys get stuck in the doors, the staff doesnt speak english, they overlap weddings in a way thats confusing and awkward for guests, there were no purchasable snacks or water bottles, they couldnt charge anyones credit card on checkout day, AND apparently they reach out to the bride and groom to chase their yelp reviews
