A hidden gem outside of Schwerin. A beautiful property with an amazing restaurant. Service and food are exceptional.
Wonderful place, forest and lake around hotel, great castle hotel, spa, swimming pool everything for relax and rest. Highly recommend!
How one awful staff member has deduct a whole star: Stayed here one night on the 14/7. Lovely location, lovely spa, lovely staff. Except one. The bartender - older gentleman - was just incredibly rude. The bar itself is awesome. Very cool decor and a place you really want to hang out. The first time we visit is just after we arrive. We're the only ones there, but still he doesn't greet us. Ordering, he's just rude - I ask him if he has a pilsner type beer, and he looks and answers me like I'm an idiot. We chalk it up to him having a bad day. We go to the restaurant. Everyone is just lovely. Very nice meal. After a couple of hours we return to the bar. Same bartender. Doesn't greet us. This time however, he's in a LOUD argument with another another guest, because he brought him the wrong drink. He THROWS the drink in a sink and yell at the guest. Incredibly arkward. We stand back, waiting around to get served. After 10 minutes of being ignored by a clearly ANGRY bartender we leave the bar. I wish we'd told the reception how this guy was ruining everyone's night. We can see ourselves returning. That guy is the only reason we give the hotel 4 and not 5 stars.
