All over it was a nice stay. We were there to go Scuba diving at Sameranger and Fernstein-See. unfortunately the Weather did not like us. Rain, rain, rain. My wife's dry suit was leaking, therefor not so many dives as planned. Even it was raining a lot and the visibility at Fernstein-See was close to Zero, Sameranger was still nice. We will come again, this time not after 25 Years
So it's an actual castle. Not an awkward imitation, but a legitimate castle saying back to the 14th century. Is everything new? No, because it's an actual castle. Is it easy to get to? Again, actual castle. There are 120 steps between the restaurant and the upper rooms that were once part of the fortress guarding the pass. That is 120 chances to let your imagination wander, and take in the gorgeous view of the pass.
They let us use the lake for SUP-ing, they have private for guests only water boats too.
