Schloss Kartzow

We really like the place. Service is higher, than average in Berlin and Brandenburg. Rooms are huge and clean. Fire place in the evening Iin the main hall was off, but immediately after we asked, team made it on. Restaurant is highly recommended for dinner, but for main dishes, - both deserts we took were pretty poor. But starts and all from winter menu was very good. Breakfast was an actual good surprise - high, very good decorated and tasty. Village around is tiny, but extremely cozy - and we did amazing walks through the fields. The main "minus" is location. It's more reachable by car, but, from the other hand, it makes the place really quit. We were really lucky - even in winter it was a pleasure to use bicycles - it took 40 minutes from Potsdam center. In summer makes sense to check if there are marriages in the castle - can be noisy and not so nice, as in off and mid-season.

Beautiful hotel, friendly staff, very quiet location, lovely food. The bed was comfortable, the Room was clean and fresh, nice shower and equipped bathroom. Would definitely stay here again.

Nothing special. Rooms are nice but missing essential facilities such as minibar or tea kettle. Hotel needs renovation and a bit of cleaning around the area. Better to stay somewhere else in the price category.
