Awesome food and service. The location is awesome. 6th generation family business ,worth visiting

Rooms have everything they need, and are clean. They are great for a short vacation or vacation spend outdoors. They are newly renovated and everything is new. The whole castle is left like in the old days for the most part and as much as possible. The breakfast has everything you need but is kept very simple. You will not find some extraordinary things. Egg dishes are prepped freshly and if requested. The service and staff is amazing!! Incredibly friendly and service oriented!! You can tell that they care about their business and you as customers! The area is gorgeous and the garden very quiet and beautiful to relax in or just enjoy the landscape.

This was the first time I visited this place near Schwaz, Tyrol for dinner. The castle near the Inn River also has a hotel attached, but we only visited here for dinner at the lovely Restaurant. Service was very attentive and excellent. We started with salad and a pumpkin soup, deliciously prepared. We then moved on to Beef Carpaccio, a pasta dish and local fish served on a pumpkin risotto. Everything was well prepared, and sumptuous. I had ordered a glass of the open Chardonnay wine, which was not very good. In fact, we will go back again and next time I will ask for a taste of wine first, to make sure that the wine is drinkable. Offering a substandard wine in a lovely and elegant place like this was a bit disappointing. But we will be back and try again another time.
