We had a 10/10 stay in mid-July. We were beyond spoiled from the moment we checked in. There was something for everyone across the 3 generations in our group. The history of the area and property as told by George was heartfelt. We were easily occupied for a week with the property, especially the grounds and spa. Everything was handled with care and attention. We all hope to visit again, as even the youngest in our group misses the kid's center and the lovely ladies at the country store. Thank you to everyone who make the experience what it is. Truly remarkable.

What a fabulous hotel in a stunning location! We were lucky enough to stay here for a night and our experience from start to finish was fantastic. All staff are so friendly, professional and attentive and the hotel has a very calm and relaxed atmosphere. We ate a light lunch in the outdoor area near Charlie's bar and the food was delicious. The spa facilities are very impressive and we spent a very relaxing few hours enjoying the facilities. Our room was lovely, with plenty of space, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The bathroom had a luxurious feel to it. We ate at Sunlaw's restaurant in the evening and were treated to an amazing culinary experience. All staff were extremely attentive and knowledgeable and the food was exquisite. I had the wine pairing alongside and the wines matched the courses perfectly. We then finished the evening with a visit to the whisky bar and Carrie-Ann was so warm, welcoming and knowledgeable. She chose the perfect whisky for me. Breakfast was very impressive with a wide selection of food for everyone. Once again the staff were so welcoming and attentive. We highly recommend this hotel and will certainly be back for another stay. Thank you so much to all the staff for making this a perfect and relaxing stay.

A superb two night break. Highlights were the room, the food, the pool and the whisky bar. In particular the young chap in charge in the whisky bar. Extremely friendly and helpful. I’ve had a father and now a daughter in the whisky industry and I’m a long standing member of the Scotch Malt Whisky Society so I can tell if someone really knows what they’re talking about. Well done. The only draw back on service was the very slow service both in Charlies and for small plates in the bar. The latter so slow that the waiter - without any prompting - gave his apologies and took the service charge off the bill. The problem is the kitchen and this needs sorted. We’ll be back!
