What a wonderful place to get away from daily life. I'm sure this place is even better during summer, especially the grounds. Still, this a very relaxing experience in winter, too. The spa is small but attractive. Don't miss the opportunity to have a massage here. The masseur does an excellent job. The food is good. There's an excellent restaurant. The staff are very friendly. A step back in time with historical value and a place to return to.

Beautiful hotel with top class restaurant, very friendly and well trained staff. They understand how to make guests feel welcome and at ease. Only point of criticism is the hassle logging into the wifi and the generally poor wifi connectivity.

We dined there recently and had a fantastic meal, and especially the service. Portions were far from adequate (typical gourmet) but were nevertheless very good. Most disappointing was being offered the bill with a warning that we would need to pay the credit card charges by the bank ourselves if we decided on credit card, which is truly strange for such an establishment, (though were in "provincial Germany", sad but true, this is what you get).
