Schlosshotel Kirchberg

Hello, Namaste, For 3 days we (my partner and me) visited the Ayurveda Center at the BIO Schlosshotel in Kirchberg an der Jagst, somewhere in the middle between Stuttgart and Nürnberg (Germany). At this Ayurveda Center, the Ayurvedic Doctor Dr. Paul first received us for a consultation. During this consultation, Dr. Paul adviced both of us for receiving specific body-treatments (Ayurvedic massages). We also could use the sauna after the massage. We also could join the yoga class. We enjoyed the Ayurvedic food, prepared with all care and love by Dr. Paul and the team around him. Specific very tasty breakfast, lunch and dinner according to what we need, to feel a better digestion, to detox, … After only these 3 days, we both felt much lighter with more energy, less pain in the body, a good feeling in the heart. This is just a great feeling. So we are both happy that we took the decision to come to this hotel and Ayurvedic Center. At the same time, we feel very grateful towards Dr. Paul, Alex and Ashwin. Hotel was situated in a great location and a wonderful view from the room. Room size is large and spacious. Wonderful breakfast and welcoming hosts at hotel but unfortunately the cons far outweigh the pros here. As a business traveller staying here for 3 nights in Oct - 2020, some of the major issues i found are:- 1) Even though there are so many tables in room, there is no proper table/chair for working at room with laptop. Even though there was a table of some kind, there was no nearby electrical connection to the table 2) No room service was conducted over the 3 nights i stayed in the hotel. I came back every evening to hotel to see the room in the condition i left it in. No change of towels, cleaning bathroom, change of bed sheets was done 3) Bathroom was separated by a curtain and the glass ledge was too large on the basin

Beautiful castle but the service is poor and rooms do not justify the price! I came with a group of 10 colleagues around midnight to the hotel. Reception was closed. Therefore room keys were arranged by our company in advance with a short description how to find rooms in the big castle complex. Nevertheless the description was so fuzzy that it took us a while to find the some of the rooms. Inside of one of the rooms there was a guest sleeping!!! 🤦‍♂️ Rest of the rooms we could not find according the description at all. Emergency phone number at the reception does not exist!!! No one picked-up official phone on Google!!! After an hour of castle tour we found rest of the rooms in a different wing of the building… Terrible service!!!
